Wedding Favors: Tasty ones at that!

When it comes to wedding favors the options are endless. You want to give your guests something unique, fun and that they will enjoy.
Our bride last weekend chose to have a Hershey kiss bar. The station was set up with large glass vessels full of different types of Hershey kisses including classic milk chocolate, dark chocolate, almond, and cookies and cream (my favorite!). Guests could help themselves to a treat during the reception and then fill mini bento boxes to take home after! The cutest part was the banner above the table of chocolate titled “Goodnight Kisses” – so clever! It was a fun, interactive idea that guests seemed to love.
If chocolate isn’t your favorite or you want to mix it up a bit, try a popcorn bar with a variety of flavors or a retro candy bar filled with old favorites! Bit-O-Honey’s, Caramel Cremes, Gummi Coke Bottles, colorful bubblegum balls, Smarties and lollipops are always a hit! Many of these candies are uncommon in your average grocery store so they are sure to be enjoyed and bring back old memories to your guests.
Check out this candy bar from Snippet and Ink, the table was designed by Amy Atlas Events. We love the use of color incorporated in the candy.
You could also combine the two ideas and have a “Sweet & Salty” bar. The table could feature a buffet of popcorn flavors, chocolate and carmel candies, chocolate dipped pretzels, mixed nuts, etc. Delish!
