Owner and Lead Planner

La Fête founder Katie Dunn has devoted her career to wedding planning, design and event production. Whether on the runways of New York City where she coordinated all fashion, jewelry and architectural special events for Swarovski North America, the offices of Classic Party Rentals where as Sales & Marketing Manager she oversaw a six-person sales force and determined the annual product line, or the elegant halls of Chapel Hill’s Carolina Inn where she planned and executed dozens of weddings, Katie’s hands-on approach, unflappable attitude and dedication to detail has equaled success.

Katie holds a BA in communications and psychology from UNC-Chapel Hill, and furthered her studies at New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology with coursework in event design, planning and execution.  Katie specializes in making your wedding or special event a one of a kind design and custom experience.  Katie is available for full service planning.

Casey Harris


Lead Planner

A veteran at La Fete, Casey maintains her role as lead planner & designer with steadfast enthusiasm and flawless execution. She complements the exclusive needs of each occasion with a fresh perspective and unparalleled attention to detail.

A North Carolina native, Casey first joined the La Fete team as an intern while attending UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School. Upon graduation she served as a creative design consultant for a boutique rental company while working her way through virtually every role within La Fete. From the logistics of coordination & production to creative design, and even navigating our online presence, Casey does it all! To date, Casey has been a part of over a hundred La Fete weddings, parties, and corporate events. With a unique combination of design expertise, event planning know-how, and business savvy, Casey is the perfect fit to serve any client with a truly bespoke experience.

Catherine Langhart


Event Coordinator

Catherine joined the La Fête team after working for one of the most preeminent catering companies in Washington DC. Her catering background goes further than an understanding of food and beverage, she is also experienced in rentals and layout design. Catherine believes organization and communication are the most important tools in creating a successful event.  As our lead weekend coordinator, Catherine prioritizes logistics with her detail oriented approach to planning. Catherine holds a BS in Hospitality Management from East Carolina University with a concentration in Special Events and Conventions. Catherine has a hospitality mindset and loves watching wedding day dreams turn into reality.
