June Signature Drink of the Month – Peach Gin Fizz

I was perusing through this month’s Martha Stewart Weddings, and came across an article featuring cocktails that showcase one of my favorite fruits – peaches. One in particular caught my eye, the Peach Gin Fizz.

The recipe:

– 8 ounces of gin
– 6 ounces of peach nectar
– 4 ounces of fresh lemon juice
– 4 large white eggs
– 2 tablespoons plus two teaspoons of superfine sugar
– 4 thin peach slices for garnish

Directions:

Combine gin, nectar, lemon juice, egg whites, and sugar in a large cocktail shaker with ice. Shake, and pour through a fine strainer into 4 highball glasses filled with ice. Garnish with peach slices.
