Honeymoon Ideas!

Winter is just around the corner so we decided to take a break and look at a few fab places to have your honeymoon  (or a vaca from the planning process!)!

Here are our top 8 picks for most romantic winter honeymoon destinations:

1. Peter Island in the British Virgin Islands

This is my favorite recommendation for an exclusive, quiet, and intimate honeymoon. Peter Island resort is a very small and private Island that can only be reached by boat. It is the definition of Paradise. Clear Blue waters, white sandy beaches, and endless opportunities. Scuba Diving, Snorkeling, Hiking, Sailing, Biking, Spa activities, and just simple beach bathing!

2.  Antigua

The best time to visit Antigua is between December and May. Antigua is smack dab in the middle of the Caribbean Islands and is said to have one of the most idyllic climates in all of the Caribbean.

3. The Dominican Republic

The temperature stays in the upper 70’s all year round in the Dominican Republic. There are 800 miles of sandy beaches stretching across the Island. For a private, more exclusive getaway, try the less populated beaches on the north and northeast coasts!

4.  Jamaica

December through April is the perfect time to head to the tropical Jamaica! Bob Marley’s birthplace was Kingston, Jamaica–A perfect place for a honeymoon. Beautiful blue water, relaxing reggae music, world renown spas, and hikes in the scenic blue mountains!

5.  Greece

The best time to visit Greece is right before Winter- October specifically! Immerse yourself in the Greek culture. A honeymoon in Greece will include intimacy, Romance, beautiful scenery and spectacular cuisine.

6.  Mexico

October to may is the best time of year to head down to Mexico! To enjoy romance in a quiet and more low key Mexican way, try heading to Cozumel. “The Corrider” near Los Cabos is also a more exclusive alternative to the wild reputation of an area like Cancun.

7. Turks and Caicos

Visit the breathtaking beaches of Turks and Caicos between December and April for the best weather. Turks and Caicos is less developed and more upscale than other Caribbean Islands. Only 8 of the 40 Islands are inhabited, which gives it an intimate feel–perfect for a honeymoon!

8. St. Lucia

Located in The Eastern Caribbean, St. Lucia is another honeymoon hotspot. Although make sure to head that way between December and April to avoid the rainy season which runs from June until November.
