Rasheed and Kimberly’s Cary NC Wedding

On Satruday June 4th Kimberly Holmes and Rasheed Wiggins became Mr. and Mrs. Wiggins! The ceremony was held at the lovely Duke Chapel with a “diamond and pearl” themed reception at 111 Place in Cary. Rhinestones and pearls glittered on the tables during cocktail hour, where guests found their table numbers on individual name cards displayed in red jewelry boxes. Red was a theme color for this wedding, from the brides heels and the grooms suspenders to the bridesmaids gowns. Kimberly and Rasheed wanted to include traditions from their sorority and fraternity in their reception so all present members took the dance floor and sang their greek songs. It was a special personal touch that helped include guests in the celebration.

Their send-off was one of a kind, with the guests lighting mini hot-air balloons and sending them into the sky as Mr. and Mrs. Wiggins made their way through the crowd to the getaway car. My new favorite send off item, for sure (and they are bio-degradeable!)
