Catherine + Austin | Beaufort + Atlantic Beach Wedding

Oh boy do we love a good beach wedding!!

Even with a hurricane a week before, we were ready to party on the coast come Catherine and Austin’s big day! The wedding weekend was the perfect mashup of North Carolina & Texas and we had the most fun planning with and celebrating two of the sweetest clients!

From getting ready with ocean views to dancing next to the dunes, 9/14 will always bring back such fond memories for us and be a constant reminder of why we love to do what we do!!

Some of our favorite moments and details from the day include the incredibly perfect weather we had – who would have guessed it was September??, the absolutely stunning flowers from Embellished Blooms, and all the little ways they incorporated their favorite things + touches of their past.

At the club where the reception was held, Catherine’s father has had a long standing drink on the menu with his namesake, “The Hal” that is the most delicious jalapeño margarita around. For their other signature cocktail, they had a Ranch Water – a Texas classic! To pay further homage to their roots, the flagpoles outside stood tall with an American flag flanked by the state flags of both North Carolina and Texas, it was the warmest welcome to many Texans who had never visited NC before and let them know they were officially a part of the family. Lastly for a bit of fun, light up lei’s and cowboy hats gave the dance floor that extra special touch to keep the party going – because we all love a little treat.

In addition to all the wonderful details, we really just loved seeing these two soak up every moment with each other and their families. Getting to know them throughout the process and seeing it all come to life through their eyes is such an honor. The hardest part is always saying goodbye after all has been concluded, but we know for them, it is much more of a see you later.
