Wilmington Rehearsal Dinner, Private Residence

This wine country themed dinner was held on the most beautiful property in Wilmington, NC.  La Fete was hired to plan and design both the rehearsal dinner and wedding which were held in the same location, so our goal was to create two very different and distinct events!  360 degree views of the sound ensconced the property where The Catering Company of Chapel Hill constructed multiple tier tents to house the dinner.  Though separate tents were utilized, each level boasted a “patio” so guests could go outside the tent to take in the views.  The concept for the rehearsal dinner was to keep the feel of the tents very organic, and although we were sheltered to have a sense of bringing the outdoors in.  Crepe myrtle trees were planted in wine crates and placed strategically throughout the tents.  Wooden farm tables and chairs from Themeworks Creative were used to further the wine country theme and long rows of burgundy and cinnamon colored flowers filled the candle lit tables.   Paper materials included a shimmery copper menu card that was letterpressed in cream with coordinating hand calligraphied place cards and escort cards.
