Stephanie + Jon | Merrimon-Wynne Wedding

Let me start off by saying that I was so excited to work with Stephanie from the first time we met! She was so excited about her wedding, sweet and easy going, and super organized – a perfect combination! She wanted an intimate and fun wedding day with all of her best people surrounding her and that is exactly what that magical day was!

As a local blogger and someone who was exposed to the industry, she really put a lot of thought into making sure guests were taken care of and that every detail was truly a reflection of her and Jon’s personalities. Seeing all of these details come together to share the story of a new husband and wife is absolutely my favorite part of every wedding and it is always so fun to see that vision come to life the day of the wedding. Shortly before the wedding, Stephanie and Jon did a photo shoot with Southern Bride & Groom and were featured in a story in the magazine about building a and designing a home together that was so beautiful – it made me that much more excited for the wedding!

Stephanie’s favorite things (and also NC classics) were Nehi & Cheerwine sodas and Krispy Kreme Donuts, so she had them around for her guests to enjoy all night and made for the perfect photo-op! The donuts were also accompanied by an ah-mazing dessert display composed of Nothing Bundt Cakes, pie, and her Step-father, William’s, famous pound cake – SERIOUSLY the best pound cake I have ever had. Hands down. As if the desert display was not enough, Stephanie also gave personalized Bailey Lane sugar cookies that were so pretty!  The florals from Serendipity Designs were soft pinks and whites with flowing ribbons and taper candles, a relaxed and elegant look that made everyone smile. Finally, the fun – guests were treated to a wonderful southern feast and danced and mingled all night long!!

Now, looking back at the pictures I am getting to relive it all again and am totally BLOWN AWAY by Emily Moore’s work. She captured Stephanie’s beauty, the emotion of the day, and all of the little details absolutely perfectly. I hope you enjoy!!
