Katharine + Daniel | Downtown Raleigh / Raleigh Country Club Wedding

Katharine & Daniel’s December wedding was full of everything that time of year should be. Friends, family, warmth, sparkle, and an overall glow that everyone and everything has about them. They got married in Downtown Raleigh at Edenton Street United Methodist Church, where Katharine was baptized. The ceremony perfectly told their journey and encapsulated their personalities and was an amazing start to their lives together.

All wrapped up in their best furs and winter glamour, the wedding party and their guests headed over to the historic Raleigh Country Club for the party of a lifetime! They were welcomed by candles and magnolia leaves surrounding a table of their families’ old wedding portraits and lead by the sound of piano music towards mountains of unique hors d’oeuvres and drinks. Their decor was classic, elegant, and had a touch of winter’s best with cedar garland, all white flowers, and some shimmer in their champagne linens.

The Band Punch really got the party started and after dinner, the party didn’t stop! Late night we brought out Santa hats, reindeer antlers, glow necklaces, and other fun Christmas gear for guests to dance with and grilled cheese sandwiches to warm their bellies! The party concluded with a sparkler send off and a Christmas wreath cookie from The Cupcake Shoppe for every guest to take home.

We are so thankful to have been a part of Katharine & Daniel’s big day!
