Beneath classic ivory and white trimmings, this fall wedding made its own traditions. An interfaith ceremony, performed in Hebrew by a rabbi and translated into English by a minister, brought the bride and groom together in a celebration of both families. The choice of venue, Weymouth Center in Southern Pines, called for a Pinehurst wedding planner. Luckily, La Fête has coordinated dozens of Pinehurst events and was able to blend experience and creativity to create a one-of-a-kind, worry-free outdoor wedding for Rebecca and Charlie. The result was atented wedding with the feel of an enchanted garden. Hanging Mason jar lanterns glimmered in the twilight, candles created a soft glow, and colorful roses (homegrown by the bride’s mother) dotted the white linens. Delicious food was catered by Elliot’s on Linden, with gourmet cupcakes shipped in from D.C.’s famous Georgetown Cupcakes. The day’s memories were captured by Vesic Photography.

Katie Dunn of La Fete Weddings & Events was a dream to work with. My now-husband and I loved working with her--as did our families--and we would recommend her highly to anyone. Katie coordinated all of our vendors and details of the wedding with such professionalism, style and charm, so that we were able to enjoy every precious minute of our wedding day... worry-free!– Rebecca Ledley
