Since the bride and groom live in Austin, Texas, they called upon Chapel Hill wedding planner La Fête for local expertise. Held at Fearrington Village – recently named by Forbes as one of North America’s top ten wedding venues – this eclectic wedding mixed country charm with modern flair. Against the rustic backdrop, contemporary colors added a spark of excitement. Custom bowties for the groomsmen and clutch handbags for the bridesmaids complemented the palette of seafoam, eggplant, peach, coral and yellow. In lieu of rice, guests showered the new couple with fragrant lavender, a symbol of good luck. Following the ceremony, music by the eight-piece band Gentlemen and Their Lady brought the reception to life.

Hey you two, this is not the last that you'll hear from us regarding this weekend's events, but we really didn't want to go one more day without thanking you both for the helping us have an absolutely amazing time! We have not stopped talking about it since we left, and every single detail that we recall was perfect! The extra efforts that you both made went well beyond the call of duty, and we truly appreciate that. We'll talk with you soon! The Muses– Darin Muse
